I love the idea of giving girls a period kit with helpfully, age-appropriate information about periods and some fun accessories. I don’t have kids yet so will be passing the kit on to a girl who would love it. I like that there is extra room in the kit for other toiletries, and if you prefer to keep products elsewhere, the bag is a good size to double as a pencil case too. I would recommend adding some reusable products such as cloth pads and or period underwear to encourage young girls to be more eco friendly.

My daughter loves her little period kit! It had everything she needed and is the perfect size to keep in her school bag. We love the wetbag it comes with which she uses to keep her underwear in a safe place. Thank you Hush! It's exactly what we needed ❤️

Such a fabulous care package for young wahine 🥰

I grabbed a pink hush kit for my niece who had just got her period. It was so special going through it with her and showing her all the little bits and pieces that will come in handy each month. It allowed the conversation to be opened and helped her to realise that she doesn’t need to feel weird about getting her period and it’s a great idea to talk about it with who ever she feels comfortable. Her awesome Māmā has had lots of period chats with her and also made up a care package on the first day that she got it. So it was nice that she has been made to feel special and loved at this time. Highly recommend for every young wahine at this time in their life!!
